Cheryl French Clerical Specialist at Linn-Benton Community College

 

February 17, 2023, Cheryl French prepares the daily mail to be delivered at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon. She has been an LBCC employee for five years. In the Mail Room Department, she has worked for the past three years as a Clerical Specialist. Every day Cheryl’s routine involves organization skills and responsibility in sorting out mail and delivering it around campus.

Cheryl’s contribution to the college has an important message for the community. Three years ago, she was a Family Connections program specialist and participated in the LBCC Parenting Program Benefits from Student Organic Farm Surplus, which supported low-income parenting students with fruits and vegetables produced by the Horticulture Program. This program benefited many families, although nowadays it no longer exists. 

Cheryl French will be leaving the Mail Room Department in three weeks as she will be retiring. Through the significant work put into this community, she has a special message for all LBCC students.
